Batavia Parks Foundation to Host Bags Tournament

The Batavia Parks Foundation in partnership with Baggo Inc. is hosting a “Toss for a Cause” bags tournament for adults 21 years and older on Saturday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St.

Teams of two adults will play a minimum of three games. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams. The cost is $50 per team and includes tournament; beer, wine, soda and water; snacks; child care for children ages 5-11; and prizes.

Registration forms are available at the Park District Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., and the Eastside Community Center.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Batavia Parks Foundation, whose mission is to promote community and quality of life for all citizens by acquiring and distributing resources which enhance opportunities and advocate stewardship for open space, parks, facilities and recreational programs within the Batavia Park District.
