All Star Sports is a fun, exciting, and entertaining coaching organization bringing a professional level of youth sports programs to local park districts. The instructors believe in passing on the knowledge and skills they have learned from playing and coaching by providing a fun, safe, and structured learning environment. All the coaches are trained professionals and are dedicated to the philosophy of having fun while helping children develop a love for athletics.
This program is a great opportunity for a parent and child to bond and have fun together while learning a variety of sports! Participants will improve simple motor skills such as catching, throwing, batting, shooting, passing, running, and hand-eye coordination. Sports played may include soccer, basketball, hockey, T-ball, and football.
This instructional program teaches the basic skills of basketball while making sure all players stay active and engaged! We will work on dribbling with both hands, passing and shooting techniques, and understanding basic offense and defense techniques. All players learn the basic mechanics and build confidence, and well add larger challenges as we progress. Please bring a water bottle.

Taught the All Star way, this program will keep everyone active and engaged both mentally and physically! Our lesson plan is designed to teach the game by hiding drills in fun games and using association techniques that get down to the players level. Soccer is a game that is action packed so there will be no sitting and waiting! Engaging the players at all times, we will cover simple foot skills, dribbling, passing, shooting, basic rules and even work on spreading the field. This class will not only keep the players active but will be a great base to prepare them for the next level of play. All of our programs will focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. This class is for the all-around athlete who wants to take a shot at different sports! We will focus on a new sport each class, including baseball, football, floor hockey, soccer, basketball and more! Learn the basic rules and mechanics all while we play games that keeps everyone moving. Theres no reason to pick a sport when you can play them all!
Increase speed and endurance while also bettering your running form! Participants will learn the basics of track and field such as springing, distance running, high and long jump, and more! Games will be used to learn form and train. Please bring water bottle!

Illinois Shotokan Karate Club is the Chicago metropolitan area's premier karate school and is taught under the instruction of John DiPasquale, a four-time National Champion and President of the American Shotokan Karate Association. ISKC's karate classes help develop flexibility, strength, and coordination in fun, yet disciplined activities. Check out the array of Karate classes available for 4 year-olds through adults! Classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in St Charles, Geneva, and Batavia. Sign up quickly because spots fill up!
We offer Shotokan Pre-Karate and Shotokan Karate. Gi uniforms are available for purchase, but are not required. Gi uniforms can be ordered through an instructor or at www.iskc.com and click on the blue equipment order tab or at any athletic store.
In our Pre-Karate Safety classes, young children develop flexibility, strength, and coordination in fun, yet disciplined, activities. This program specifically is designed for growing minds and bodies.
Karate classes offer a good mix of strength training with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Increase coordination, agility, and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. Benefit from the mental stimulation of learning the choreographed moves of the kata and the discipline of conforming to the class rules. Adult classes release tension, develop total body fitness and build stamina and overall productivity! In addition to self-defense skills, karate increases flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscle tone, while improving core strength. This is also a great way to spend quality time with your child, while conditioning muscles, developing coordination and improving cardiovascular fitness.

This developmental Soccer League introduces young players to the game of soccer, including soccer skills, fundamentals, and playing on a team. This will be a one day per week commitment as teams will practice for half an hour and then play their games immediately after they practice. There will not be goalkeepers and all players will play at least half the game. Players will receive a jersey for the season. Shin guards are required. Volunteer coaches are needed. Improve your skills, make new friends, and play ball! This league is played with Geneva and Sugar Grove Park Districts and will require some travel for games. For 10U, 12U, and 14U teams, the season will conclude with a single game elimination playoff. Please provide a jersey and pant size as well as what school your child attends at registration.

Players will develop agility, balance, basic movement patterns, forehand and backhand groundstrokes, serves, returns, volleys, court positioning, and scoring. Ages 4-7.
Volunteer coaches are needed for a number of youth park district leagues including softball, basketball, soccer and more - if you are interested or know someone interested, or would like more information on volunteer coaching expectations, please email nathanielj@bataviaparks.org. Coaches will need to fill out a volunteer application form as well successfully pass a background check.
