  • 10:00 am-Noon - Speed Dating with Books

    Are you a book lover looking for your next good read? Attend this fun, free event for adults, where Batavia Public Library trustees and librarians will introduce you to books we can’t stop talking about! One of these books might just be the perfect match for your reading tastes. No registration is required; drop by the Library Reading Garden.

    (Hosted by the Batavia Public Library. Rain location: Library Founders Room.)

LOCATION: BATAVIA DEPOT MUSEUM, 155 HOUSTON STREET

  • 10:00 am-5:00 pm - The Depot Museum will be open during the festival. Visit us to take in some history and shop for unique Batavia merchandise!

     

LOCATION: MAIN STAGE, PEG BOND CENTER (THE RIVERWALK - 151 N. ISLAND AVENUE)

  • 12:00-8:00 pm - Golf Challenge

  • 12:00-10:30 pm - Food & Beer Garden Open

  • 12:00 pm - Pet Competition at Main Stage

    Invite your furry or not-so-furry friends to this unique competition! The first 50 registered participants will receive a complimentary “doggie bag” to take home. Interested participants must register near the Main Stage. Pets can win ‘best overall’ in five categories: Best Kisser, Best Trick, Highest Jump, Best Costume, and Most Unusual.   • 2:30-4:30 pm - Unplug Illinois Day Sidewalk Chalk Contest - All Ages Welcome (South Riverwalk Plaza)

    Ditch your electronics for fun and recreation. July 9 is “Unplug Illinois Day,” where people across the state are encouraged to head outside to play and enjoy activities at their local park districts. Join us and draw what you love about Batavia! All ages are welcome to show off their artistic talents and compete to win People’s Choice Contest for “Most Uplifting” and “Best of Batavia.” The contest will be held on Batavia Park District’s Facebook page after the festival.   • 3:00-4:30 pm - Family Fun Yard Games

  • 3:00-5:00 pm - Paul & Jay Band

    The Paul & Jay Band is an all-inclusive, sing-along, clap-along, interactive musical group. Their playlist includes a variety of songs that will make you sing and applaud! They perform your favorite acoustic rock, Indie, ‘80s, classic rock, blues, disco, alternative rock, and many current hits, too. Paul & Jay will have you laughing, cheering, singing and dancing all night long!

  • 6:00-8:00 pm - Band: Generation

    Generation brings it all to the stage! It’s a “rock show” of iconic, popular hits not defined by decades…but some of the best groundbreaking music of our time! Beatles to Stones…Bowie to Led Zeppelin…Aretha to Sly Stone. Songs are always sure to bring smiles to faces in the crowd! The band is powerful, the songs are unforgettable, and it’s a performance that makes the audience part of the excitement and fun happening on stage!

  • 9:00-11:00 pm - Band: Lounge Puppets

    The Lounge Puppets are Chicago’s premier ‘80s hairband and arena rock tribute band. Playing favorites from Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and more, this band is sure to rock you with its electrifying show!
