American Legion Post 504
This group's mission is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

Batavia ACCESS
Batavia ACCESS helps with various community services & volunteer activities including the Fourth of July fireworks! (A website is not available at this time.)

Batavia Artists Guild
The Guild's focus is to foster, create, and instill appreciation of the Fine Arts along with the encouragement of the artists in the expression of their ideas.

The Batavia Chamber promotes business, resources, and quality of life in the community.

Batavia Foundation of Educational Excellence
The mission of this foundation is to enhance the educational programs in all the schools which compromise School District 101. By attracting private funds to supplement the regular educational revenues, the Foundation can provide support for the development of enrichment programs and services which make the critical difference between a very good education and an excellent education.

Batavia Historical Society
The Batavia Historical Society focuses on the discovery, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge about the history of Batavia Township, Kane County, Illinois.

Batavia Lions Club
Lions members are comprised of men and women who provide immediate and sustained relief in time of disaster and offer long-term assistance to those in need. Lions collect and recycle eyeglasses for distribution in developing countries and treat millions of people to prevent river blindness.

Batavia MainStreet
The Batavia MainStreet program is a not-for-profit, community-based organization devoted to enhancing downtown Batavia's identity as the heart of the community through dedicated volunteer efforts.

Batavia Masonic Lodge #404
This fraternity includes men and women of every race, nationality and religion. The Lodge continually seeks the means to help all human beings unite and work together for the perfection of Humanity.

Batavia Moose Lodge #682
The Moose Lodge is dedicated to bettering the lives of children and elderly in need, and helping to make our local and international communities better places to live.

The Mother's Club is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the children in our community.

Batavia Music Buffs
The Batavia Music Buffs work closely with music groups to enrich the programs and to make the student's participation one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences in their high school career. This assistance includes music camp, scholarship, awards, college scholarship help, new uniforms and liaison with the other activity groups.

Batavia Parks Foundation
The Batavia Parks Foundation is a recognized 501C3 Illinois charitable organization with a five member volunteer board focused on the awareness and promotion of community and quality of life for all residents by acquiring and distributing resources to enhance the opportunities and advocate stewardship for open space, parks, facilities and recreational programs within the auspice of the Batavia Park District. The Foundation acts as a funding arm of the park district to provide access for all residents in need so all may enjoy a quality recreational experience, as well as fund special projects towards park and facility improvements.

Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners
The Plain Dirt Gardeners support and conduct educational and informational activities that promote gardening. They also support the Batavia Wildflower Sanctuary and other community projects related to gardening and native plan preservation. The Plain Dirt Gardeners provide a network wherein gardeners can share their expertise and further a strong and growing interest in gardening.

Batavia Rotary Club
The Rotary Club provides service to the community of Batavia so it will be a better place to work, live and play.

Batavia VFW
The Batavia Overseas Post 1197, VFW, in Batavia Illinois has grown from a small group of men who met in Batavia City Hall in 1935 to become one of the nation's outstanding community veteran organizations. This has been accomplished due to the devotion, leadership, sacrifice and support of its members and the generous support of the community it serves.

Batavia Woman's Club
The Batavia Woman's Club provides scholarships for middle to high school students wishing to attend music, art or dance classes. The group is also very active in causes for children, women and the environment.

Batavia Youth Baseball ("BYB")
BYB provides competitive and non- competitive youth baseball programs for ages 6-17.

Batavia Access Television, Inc. is a provider of public access television and government access television for the community of Batavia, Illinois.

BHS Key Club
Key Club International is a high school student organization dedicated to service and leadership development.

Columbian Club
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal organization. Council 2191 serves the communities of Batavia, Geneva and Elburn.

Kane County Forest Preserve

Since 1925, the Forest Preserve District has worked to preserve and restore Kane County's natural areas, improve wildlife habitat, and enhance the quality of life for all Kane County residents.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Reach for the Moon Foundation
Reach for the Moon Foundation is non-for-profit, 501C3 organization founded to assist children primarily in Illinois . The focus of the foundation is to help provide "Basic Needs" for children. It is our belief that children deserve to have their most basic needs met in order for them to learn and become healthy, productive adults.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
RSVP (the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provides older Americans the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting community needs. RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. Among other activities, they mentor at-risk youth, organize neighborhood watch programs, test drinking water for contaminants, teach English to immigrants, and lend their business skills to community groups to provide critical social services. Tri-Cities Soccer
The Tri-Cities Soccer Association is the largest independent recreational soccer organization in Northern Illinois . This all volunteer organization, co-sponsored with the park districts of Batavia , Geneva , St. Charles and South Elgin, has been serving the Fox Valley area since 1977. The goal of our organization is to introduce and promote the game of soccer to the youth of the Tri-Cities area and it is our intention for it to be a learning experience for both players and their parents.


Illinois Association of Park Districts
The Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD) is a nonprofit service, research and education organization that represents park districts, forest preserves, conservation and recreation agencies. IAPD's mission is to advance these agencies in their ability to provide outstanding park and recreation opportunities, preserve our natural resources, and improve the quality of life for all people in Illinois.

Illinois Youth Park District License Plate
Get Licensed to Support Illinois Youth! The sale and subsequent renewals of each plate generate $25 for the PowerPlay! Beyond School Grant Program, which funds youth programs in park and recreation agencies throughout Illinois. The goal of the PowerPlay! program is to increase the number of opportunities designed to show youth the lifelong benefits of fitness, health and nutrition. The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) has been the voice advocating the significance of making parks, open space, and recreational opportunities available to all Americans.

Park District Risk Management Agency
The Park District Risk Management Agency (PDRMA) is a membership organization comprised of over 145 park districts, forest preserve districts and special recreation associations located throughout the state.


Batavia Public Library
The mission of the Batavia Public Library is to provide and ensure access to materials and services to meet the lifelong learning needs of residents and organizations as well as to create a welcoming place to gather, exchange ideas and participate in cultural events.

Batavia Public School District 101
The Batavia Community Unit School District was formed in 1911 when the westside and eastside school districts of Batavia combined to form a single district. The district provides educational programs for grades pre-kindergarten through 12 and operates six elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The current enrollment of the district is nearly 6,000 students.

City of Batavia
The City of Batavia, Illinois is a city with a population of about 25,000. It is the goal of City of Batavia to provide quality, reliable and affordable city services, while fostering a small-town atmosphere of friendliness and caring in our community.

Fox Valley Special Recreation
The FVSRA is a cooperative effort of the South Elgin St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Sugar Grove, Oswego, and Fox Valley Park Districts. This arrangement has provided a year-round recreation service to any resident who has a disability and is in need of special assistance to make their participation meaningful and rewarding

Fox Valley Park District
Nestled along the Fox River, the boundaries encompass 47 square miles of land. It is one of the largest park districts in Illinois and serves the communities of Aurora, North Aurora and Montgomery.

Geneva Park District
The Park District's mission is to provide all residents and age groups of the community with recreational programs, facilities and open space that will enhance the quality of life of its residents.

St. Charles Park District
The Park District has served St. Charles area residents since 1911. Through a planned and aggressive acquisition program, the District has been able to protect and preserve considerable acreage of prairies, wetlands, and woodlands for the St. Charles community.
