DESCRIPTION:To Secure These Rights… \nBatavia Depot Museum 2026 Spring Exhibit \nMarch 1 – Aug. 9 \nIn 1776\, the Declaration of Independence established equality and the rights of life\, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the standard for a free people and the highest American ideals. To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration\, the Batavia Depot Museum’s spring exhibit examines Batavians who have bravely stepped up to defend the rights of not only themselves but their neighbors. Many expressions of this goal are explored from military service\, to the fight for universal suffrage\, to advocacy for the rights of all people.

DESCRIPTION:General admission and Premier tickets go on sale February 9\, 2026 \nVino lovers\, this event is for you! Sample a wide variety of wines at this laid-back casual event. Enjoy a variety of unique wine along with food\, live music and the relaxed ambiance of The Riverwalk. \nTickets include entry to the event\, three hours of wine tasting of 10-one ounce samples and a commemorative glass. Only 550 tickets will be sold. Don’t miss out! Get your tickets today at bataviaparks.org or at the Civic Center or Eastside Community Center. Ticket prices will go up by $5 after May 25. \nAttendees and ticket purchasers must be 21 years or older and present valid\, state-issued ID card at the time of check-in. Last call is at 3:30 p.m. and the last pour is at 3:45 p.m. No one under age 21 will be allowed to enter the festival. Pets are not permitted. \nTickets are expected to sell out quickly for this event! \n  \nTickets include entry to the event\, three hours of wine\ntasting and a commemorative glass. Only 550 tickets will be sold.\n• Premier: $50 (includes 15 one-ounce pours). Price increases to $55 after May 25.\n• General admission: $35 (includes 10 one-ounce pours). Price increases to $40 after May 23.\n• Designated Driver: $10 (includes water and soda) \n  \nThis event is a rain or shine event. In the case of severe weather patrons will be alerted to head to the Callahan Community Center or the Government Center.
