Light refreshments and a cash bar provided. \n  \nTo Secure These Rights… the Batavia Depot Museum’s spring exhibition running March 1- August 9.\nDetails:\nIn 1776\, the Declaration of Independence established equality and the rights of life\, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the standard for a free people and the highest American ideals. To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration\, the Batavia Depot Museum’s spring exhibit examines Batavians who have bravely stepped up to defend the rights of not only themselves but their neighbors. Many expressions of this goal are explored from military service\, to the fight for universal suffrage\, to advocacy for the rights of all people.

Registration fee for the monthly meeting and luncheon is $14 for Batavia Senior Citizens Club members and $19 for non-members.\n\nHow to join the Batavia Senior Citizens Club\nThis club is an exciting group of active\, fun adults that has monthly meetings in Shannon Hall on the third Wednesday of each month. A luncheon with entertainment and raffle\, open to all area seniors\, follows the meeting.\nClub members receive: \n\n$5 off the monthly buffet luncheon fee\nFREE access to Indoor Walking Mondays from 1-4 p.m. at the Civic Center.\nThe monthly Batavia Bulletin newsletter\nFREE Pinochle play every Thursday\nSocial group activities\n\nThe annual club fee is $17. DESCRIPTION:Over 1\,100 women served their country during World War II as members of the Women Airforce Service Pilots\, WASP\, flying every military aircraft flown by the American Forces from the PT-17\nStearman to the P51 Mustang and B-17 Flying Fortress.
