History Heroes - Archaeology Dig

Families, grab your artifact brushes and get ready to make some discoveries at the Depot museum. Learn about archaeology and Batavia history; then practice what you've learned by "digging" up artifacts and making your own museum display!
Space is limited to one family (maximum of 5 people per family) per half hour. Please register one family member to reserve your spot.

Forest Playdates

Visit our outdoor nature nook for a day of creative play in our forest imagination station! Each date features a different theme of self-guided activities and supplies. Adults must monitor their children.

Cave Hike

Join us for a mile-long round trip through the woods as we discuss the seasonal changes happening as we travel to the only cave in the Chicagoland region. All participants must be registered, and adults must accompany their children.

At-Home Athletic Box

Try out a new sport with your family with an At-Home Athletic Box! Along with the equipment, skill building activities and drills will be included for each specific box. Each box is $15 for a one week (7 days) rental. Please indicate which sport you would like when registering. You will pick-up and return the supplies at the Civic Center. After registering, you will be contacted within 3-4 days to pick-up the supplies. An 'All Sports' option is also available for $25.

Basketball: 3-4 basketballs, cones, agility ladder, agility cones
Baseball/softball: 10 balls, 2-3 bats, batting tee, temporary bases, wiffle balls
Soccer: 3-4 soccer balls, cones, 2 portable nets
Pickleball: 2-4 paddles, 1-2 balls, net
Football: 2-3 balls, field marker pylons, cones, agility ladder, kick off tee
All Sports: A combination of basketball, baseball, and football kits

All Star Sports Outdoor Camps

Each camp will run Monday through Thursday, with Friday being reserved for a weather make-up day if needed. All camps will be held outdoors at Engstrom Park. Please bring your own water bottle and equipment. Each camp costs $77.

Shotokan Karate

Increase your coordination and focus through fun, yet disciplined activities. Children will channel their energy in a more positive and healthy way, while adults can get in a great workout while relieving stress.

Beginner Golf Clinic

This clinic is designed for men and women new to golf and interested in developing a comfort level and confidence on the golf course. Golf Camp

Local Explorers Camp

Kamp Kaleidoscope is reimagined for Summer 2020! Campers will enjoy crafts, games, social activities, daily hiking, gardening, reading, and more. Sign up weekly or for the whole summer!
