Volunteers Wanted

Volunteers play an important role in every public agency, and a Park District is no exception. In fact, because the Batavia Park District works to accommodate the entire community - from infants to seniors - volunteers are especially needed and valued.

The Batavia Park District has numerous opportunities for those interested in volunteering their time and talent. From coaches to special event helpers, our residents enjoy the added benefits of a committed and dedicated volunteer staff. Apply today by filling out the Volunteer Application Forms. Volunteer Handbook can be found here. All volunteers 15+ will receive a background check as part of the application process.

A Nightmare at West Main

Friday, October 14 and October 21, 7:00-9:00 pm, West Main Community Park

The ghosts are coming out to play in the forest at West Main Community Park. Join us for a haunted hike through our spooky trails. If you love dressing up in scary costumes for Halloween, volunteer and join our ghoulish crew for A Nightmare at West Main! The Batavia Park District is looking for many volunteers for its seasonal Halloween haunted hike, to be held in the evenings of October 14 & 21 at West Main Community Park.

For more information on A Nightmare at West Main, please contact Bethanne Guidarelli at bethanne@bataviaparks.org or 630-406-5282, ext. 2066.
