Gather & Remember Free Drop-in Programs

Programs offered at the Callahan Community Center. Each month will offer a special topic for community members to drop by and tell their stories. This program runs monthly. Registration is encouraged but drop-ins are welcome.

History Programs

Every month a special guest speaker or activity is offered related to the current exhibit on display. Preregistered is required and there is a fee. All ages welcome.

Preservation Week

This event happens annually the last week of April into the first week of May.

Preservation Week inspires action to preserve personal, family, and community collections in addition to library, museum, and archive collections. It also raises awareness of the role libraries and other cultural institutions play in providing ongoing preservation education and information.

Batavia History Trolley

Take a ride on the Park District’s historic open-air trolley for a guided tour of Batavia’s history. Tours last 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Private Trolley Tours

Want to celebrate a special occasion this year? Private tours are available April to October depending on staff availability, and are the perfect way to experience Batavia with family and friends. Call Batavia Depot Museum staff at 630-406-5274 to schedule your private trolley tour, with the personal touch!
