Many programs offered at Batavia Park District have sessions for different ages. Explore all of the different activities and see if they are perfect for your entire family.
Last weekend saw many cancelled beer festivals. Don't miss out! Come to Pints by the Pond! The forecast at this time is dry with a high of 70 degrees. Same day tickets are available.
Sample unique beers from more than a dozen local breweries and get a bite to eat from the food trucks. Tickets include entry to the fest, three hours of beer tastings of 20, 3-ounce samplings and a commemorative beer glass. Want more time? Select the VIP option for early entry.
American Heart association CPR/BLS is considered the gold standard for CPR certification. Participants will learn CPR basics, including adult, child, infant CPR, response to choking, and use of an AED. As a bonus, we will also cover some basic first aid concepts such as use of an Epi-Pen. After successful completion of the course, participants will receive an American Heart Association E-Card, which is valid for two years. Must be physically capable of performing chest compressions to pass.

Batavia Depot Museum's newest exhibit, "In Harmony" is on exhibit through November 22.
From the amazing Batavia High School Marching Band to community ensembles and church choirs, local groups and residents have made music side by side for generations. This exhibit celebrates the bands, choirs and ensembles that didn't just create music together, but were creating connections and community beyond the final note.
The Batavia Park District and the Batavia Lions Club are teaming up for the NexTrex recycling challenge! Donate your clean plastic recyclable bags and film and if we hit our goal, NexTrex will donate a FREE park bench made of the recycled material to the Park District for everyone to enjoy.

Our basketball leagues are all about learning the game, building skills and having fun on the court. Young players will work on fundamentals, teamwork and confidence while getting plenty of opportunities to practice and play. Just bring your sneakers, your energy and a willingness to learn.

Calling all Halloween enthusiasts! The Batavia Park District invites you to showcase your spooky creativity in our Halloween House Decorating Contest! Whether your style is hauntingly eerie, delightfully spooky, or full of whimsical charm, this is your chance to transform your home into a Halloween masterpiece and win a fantastic prize.

Judging Information:
All displays will be judged on Wednesday, October 14, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Be sure your decorations are up and visible for our judges during this time!
Prizes:
Winners in both categories will receive a Batavia Park District prize package, which will be awarded the following day.
How to Participate:

After you register, submit 3-5 photos of your decorated house for judging by October 11. Please send your photos to zachm@bataviaparks.org. Make sure the photos highlight your Halloween sprit and decorations!

Back for year five, Batavia’s favorite outdoor craft beer festival is bringing together local breweries, food trucks and enough beer samples to make choosing a favorite very difficult.

The Batavia Depot Museum is partnering with the National Association of Children's Museums to provide a free family day for learning and playing. This fun event will include yard games, activity books, learning activities and more!
This event takes place on Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Museum, 155 Houston St., Batavia. All ages are welcome. No registration required.
🐝Busy Bees brings the outdoors in with nature inspired classes. A new book and project will be done each week surrounding a monthly theme.
