Many programs offered at Batavia Park District have sessions for different ages. Explore all of the different activities and see if they are perfect for your entire family.
Batavia Uncorked tickets are on sale now! Sample a wide variety of wines at this laid-back casual event. Enjoy a variety of unique wine along with food, live music and the relaxed ambiance of The Riverwalk.
Tickets include entry to the event, three hours of wine tasting of 10-one ounce samples and a commemorative glass. Attendees and ticket purchasers must be 21 years or older and present valid, state-issued ID card at the time of check-in. Last call is at 3:30 p.m. and the last pour is at 3:45 p.m. No one under age 21 will be allowed to enter the festival. Pets are not permitted.

Inspired by the excitement of March Madness, this special event is just for middle schoolers who love basketball and a good time with friends. Show off your skills in a three-point contest, battle it out in 3-on-3 half-court games, and compete in classic favorites like H-O-R-S-E and Knockout.
When you’re ready to refuel, enjoy pizza, soda and snacks while cheering on your friends and hanging out off the court. Wear your favorite team’s jersey and show your spirit! Whether you’re looking to showcase your skills or simply enjoy the game, this event promises an unforgettable night of basketball excitement.

Happy Valentine's Day! Park District patrons, participants and staff showed their holiday spirit. New Adventures PlayLab participants tried a fizzy heart experiment, our instructor Kathy and her Shape and Tone class wore pink and red, and park district staff dressed in festive colors. Also posing in the third photo is a little stuffed animal that was left behind last week at Preschool Open Gym with her zebra friend. They are waiting to be claimed at the front desk.

The Lodge at Laurelwood is a cozy, historic facility nestled within beautiful Laurelwood Park along the Fox River and Fox River Trail. The park is a popular spot for fishing and relaxing, and The Lodge can be rented for events and meetings for up to 50 people. The Lodge has a patio overlooking the river, and features a kitchenette and indoor bathrooms.

Hop on over to Prairie Path Park for this year’s Egg Hunt!
A fun morning is planned with separate egg hunt zones for kids ages 2, 3–5 and 5–8, so everyone gets a chance to join in the fun. Be sure to bring a basket to collect all the eggs and treats you find! Stick around for more excitement with a bounce house that’s sure to keep the little ones jumping for joy. And don’t forget to visit the Easter Bunny for an adorable photo op! The egg hunt kicks off right at 10 a.m. sharp, so please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to get settled before the hunt begins. Let the egg-citement begin!

Bring your little valentine to Preschool Open Gym on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. This is a great opportunity for kids ages 1-5 and their caregivers to connect and make new friendships. The drop in fee is $5.00 per child and $3.00 for each sibling. A caregiver must remain with their children at all times. We hope to see you there!

⚽Registration is open for Energy City Spring Soccer Leagues!⚡
The leagues are divided into three age groups, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8.
⚽Ages 3-4 and 5-6 are developmental leagues introducing players to the game, fundamentals and playing on a team. One day a week teams will practice and end with a game. There are no goal keepers and everyone will have a chance to play at least half the game.
⚽Ages 7-8 is a developmental league focusing on skill development and team play. Teams will practice once a week and have a game on Saturdays.
