After a busy summer it's time to treat yourself with something just for you! Get moving and grooving with dance fitness. Learn more about the different options including WERQ, Jukebox Dance Fitness and themed dance parties. You don't want to miss this!

We have a new pop-up program! Join the Chicago Union at the Engstrom Park soccer fields for a weekly evening of ultimate frisbee - a fast paced, non-contact sport played with a frisbee. Experienced facilitators will get you throwing, catching, and playing within the first session. Open to all players of every skill level and all ages, no experience needed! Players must pre-register.

Calling all beer enthusiasts! Pints by the Pond is NEXT MONTH, September 26! Don't miss out on a relaxing afternoon with friends sampling some local brews. Tickets include entry to the fest, three hours of beer tastings of 20, 3-ounce samples from attending breweries and a commemorative beer glass. Want more time to hang out and sample? The VIP option includes an extra hour of the fest.

It's back to school season and we all have a favorite teacher to remember. Gather and Remember is presented by the Batavia Depot Museum and the Batavia Historical Society. Community members are invited to share their personal recollections and memories connected to Batavia's past. This is a free monthly roundtable discussion exploring a new topic each month. Registration is recommended, but drop ins are welcome.

Batavia Depot Museum's newest exhibit, "In Harmony" opens August 15 and is on exhibit through November 22.
From the amazing Batavia High School Marching Band to community ensembles and church choirs, local groups and residents have made music side by side for generations. This exhibit celebrates the bands, choirs and ensembles that didn't just create music together, but were creating connections and community beyond the final note.
Learn the game of basketball, build skills, work as a team and most importantly HAVE FUN! Our developmental basketball leagues start for boys and girls in Kindergarten with leagues up to 8th grade.

The next sessions of Baby Rock, Tot Rock and Kid Rock Plus start in September!
Baby Rock, 3-15 months with an adult - A combination of sensory experiences with stimulating music and exercises.
Tot Rock, 1 - 2.5 years with an adult - This movement-based program uses music to facilitate learning.
Kid Rock Plus, 2-5 years with an adult - Activities include use of rhythm instruments and movement props, work on gross and fine motor skills, including balance and coordination, and engagement of imaginative play.
