Enjoy a frosty treat at Popsicles in the Park
Celebrate summer with Popsicles in the Park on July 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at Engstrom Family Park, 326 Millview Dr., Batavia.
This free drop-in event will feature free face painting, glitter tattoos, games, a bounce house, a popsicle coloring activity, a special appearance from River, the Batavia Police Department’s comfort dog, and, of course, popsicles.
Games and activities are geared to children ages 2-12, but all ages are welcome to stop by the park and get a frozen treat. See you there!

10U Travel Softball tryouts
We welcome all players interested in joining Travel Softball. Please pre-register your player. Register at bataviaparks.org/softball/#travel-softball-team. Players must be age 10 or younger by Sept. 1, 2026.

Players should arrive early to check in and warm up. Players should bring their glove, bat, batting helmet, cleats, water bottle, and other positional equipment.
Travel softball is a great way for players to master their skills, manage their time, build emotional intelligence and self-awareness, and make friends.

Hot outside? Cool off at Hall Quarry Beach!
When the temperature rises, head over to Hall Quarry Beach to cool off. Dive, splash or swim. Check out the flume, slides and inflatables. Bring a picnic and spend the day at the beach.
Hall Quarry Beach opens daily at noon. Daily admission is $10 for in-district and $15 for out-of-district residents. Save with a 10-punch pass for $90 in-district and $120 out-of-district. Learn more at bataviaparks.org/hall-quarry-beach.
