Take advantage of the warm weather this week and play pickleball at West Main Community Park, 40W101 West Main St. We have 8 individually fenced courts with seating and a shade structure. Serve it to earn it!

Learn about the Batavians who bravely stepped up to defend their rights and the rights of others in the community as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. "To Secure These Rights," Batavia Depot Museum's spring exhibit, opens March 1. Starting March 1, museum hours are 2-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Gather and Remember is a free monthly drop in program at the Callahan Community Center Sky Loft A, located across from the Batavia Depot Museum at 150 Houston Street. Each month will offer a special topic for community members to drop by and tell their stories. This program runs monthly. Registration is encouraged but drop-ins are welcome.
This month join the Batavia Depot Museum and the Historical Society for a session about the joy of school bands, church choirs and community ensembles. Bring your stories, favorite memories and maybe even a song or two as we celebrate the sounds that brought Batavia together.

First Pour Friday is coming up on March 6!
