Did You Know?
Many programs offered at Batavia Park District have sessions for different ages. Explore all of the different activities and see if they are perfect for your entire family.
Register to try out for the Batavia Park District's 10U travel softball program for the 2027 season! Age groups and teams will be set based upon level of player and overall interest. Tryouts will be Monday, August 10 at Memorial Park, ballfield #1. Pre-registration is preferred. Players must be 10 year old or younger as of September 1, 2026 in order to participate and be qualified to play on a team.

This exciting group of active, fun adults has monthly meetings in Shannon Hall on the third Wednesday of each month. A luncheon with entertainment and raffle, open to all area seniors, follows the meeting.
Meetings cover general business and start at 11:30 a.m. Door prizes and raffles are announced at 12:30 p.m. at the start of the buffet luncheon. Entertainment is from 1–2 p.m.
Monthly meetings and luncheons are open to all seniors. Registration fee for the monthly meeting and luncheon is $14 for members and $19 for non-members.

FREE access to Indoor Walking Mondays from 1-4 p.m. at the Civic Center

How to join:

River Rhapsody comes to an end tomorrow, August 5th with Stevie McVie. Enjoy the timeless classics of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac with an electrifying and heartfelt performance! All skill levels are welcome to come and learn the art of Wushu Kung Fu. It will teach the basic Wushu forms, basic tumbling/gymnastics, strength and conditioning, speed and agility training, discipline, respect and self esteem and self confidence. The 13 and over class is a great opportunity for parents and teens to learn together.

Energy City Soccer is a developmental league introducing young players to the game of soccer including soccer skills, fundamentals and playing on a team. This will be a one day per week commitment as teams will practice for a half-hour and then play their games after practice. There will not be goal keepers and all players will have a chance to play at last half the game.
