Softball

Improve your skills, make new friends, and play ball! This league is played with Geneva and Sugar Grove Park Districts and will require some travel to those communities for games. For the 10U and 12U teams, the season will conclude with a single-game elimination playoff. Players will receive a jersey top, visor and socks for the Fall season (pants not included but can be purchased separately if needed). Please provide a jersey top size, as well as what school your child attends at registration.- Registration deadline is July 13- After the deadline, you will be waitlisted and only placed on a team if numbers allow.- Practices start the week of August 3rd. Days, times, and field location will be determined by your coach and field availability.- Games begin the last week in August. *No games are played during Labor Day weekend.- Age cut-off is based on participant's age as of September 1st, 2026- Volunteer coaches are needed.- Each player is required to have her own helmet. Helmets can be purchased for an additional $23.- Need softball pants this fall? Pants may be purchased for an additional $20.

Join us for the fall softball league! Teams will consist of 10 -12 players. All teams will practice for a half an hour and play their game immediately afterward on Friday evenings. A uniform top will be provided for each girl. The league will use a tee like a traditional tee-ball league. All girls must bring their own glove and any kind of athletic shoe may be worn. Volunteer coaches are needed.

Come try out for the Batavia Park District's 10U travel softball program for the upcoming 2026/2027 season! Age groups and teams will be set based upon level of player and overall interest. Tryouts will be Monday, July 20 at Memorial Park, ballfield #1. Pre-registration is preferred. Teams are coached by current in-house volunteer coaches. Players must be 10 year old or younger as of September 1, 2026 in order to participate and be qualified to play on a team.*Pitchers/Catchers Report 5:30-6:30p*All other field positions report at 6:30p-8:00p

Mechanics and hand eye coordination are the keys to early success in T-ball! Players in this program will be more confident in this active class. We’ll work on the proper mechanics of catching, throwing, fielding, base running, and batting. Players will be moving and learning even when in the dugout! Please bring a water bottle and glove.

Throwing, fielding, base-running, and batting will be the focus of this introductory league. Every player will have the opportunity to play each position a steams are kept small. Each player will receive a team hat and jersey. Please bring your own glove and water bottle.
