Soccer

Boys and girls learn new skills and make new friends on the field in our Energy City Soccer leagues, soccer programs and camps. While learning the rules of the game, kids build teamwork and social skills along with self-confidence and discipline. Choose from spring and fall leagues for ages 3-8, soccer programs for ages 3-9 and summer camps for ages 4-9. Leagues are held at Engstrom Park.

Energy City Soccer League 

  • For ages 3-6
  • Leagues run in spring and fall
  • Focuses on soccer skills, fundamentals and teamwork
  • This league does not have goalkeepers

Energy City Soccer League 

  • For ages 7-8
  • Leagues run in spring and fall
  • Practices and games for ages 7-8 are determined by coach availability
  • Focuses on team play and skill building in a fun and supportive environment

Jr Soccer 

  • For ages 3-6
  • Covers simple foot skills, dribbling, passing and shooting
  • Drills hidden in fun games

Soccer Skills

  • For ages 7-9
  • Covers dribbling, shooting, passing and spacing

Summer Soccer Camps 

  • For ages 4-9
  • Cover all aspects of the game
  • Includes stretching, drills and fun competitions

About Program
This developmental Soccer League introduces young players to the game of soccer, including soccer skills, fundamentals, and playing on a team. This will be a one day per week commitment as teams will practice and then play their games immediately after they practice each week. There will not be goal keepers and all players will play at least half the game. Players will receive a jersey for the season. Shin guards are required. Volunteer coaches are needed.*When registering, please list the elementary school your child attends/will attend for team formation

Soccer Camp (Summer)

Getting started with soccer

    Equipment

    Your child will need shin guards and a soccer ball. Be sure to bring a water bottle.

    Soccer leagues

    Energy City Soccer Leagues play in the spring and fall. Register for spring in November. Register for fall in July.

    Learning the basics

    Our Jr Soccer program is offered by All Star Sports year-round and gives kids a good introduction to the game.

    Camps

    Soccer camps in June and July give extra opportunity for kids to improve their game.
