Equestrian

Horsemanship for adults and youth year-round offered at Dunham Woods. The 6 week long program starts in January, April, June, August, October.

Program offerings

Discover the joy of working with horses in a safe, supportive environment at Dunham Woods Farm. Our horsemanship program is perfect for beginners and those looking to build confidence around horses.

Participants will learn how to properly groom, tack, and handle horses, along with the fundamentals of riding at the walk and trot. Lessons take place in a beautiful indoor arena during inclement weather, so classes run rain or shine. The first session focuses on orientation and groundwork to ensure every rider gets a strong start. For adults and youth ages 9-15.
