Two-hour classes! Here’s an exciting experience for your imaginative child. This class will awaken their inner artist! We explore all the basics of visual arts in a fun and confident setting that ensures success for every child. Basic drawing, portraits, action, and cartooning. Students complete several different projects and learn to draw whimsical characters, animals, everyday objects, and action scenes. Young Rembrandts Artists gain so much confidence. Double your child’s creative spirit and art skills.

Everything we create is FAB: Fun and Beautiful as we explore watercolor techniques, papers, 3D art at perspective while creating unique masks, active minions and cityscapes.

Have you seen the famous kids baking contests on TV? Their favorite week is usually when they have to take dessert foods and transform them into savory foods. In this class, each child will make a Cheeseburger Cupcake and Spaghetti & Meatball Cupcake. This is a decorating only class.

Young chefs will whip up tasty entrees with fresh herbs, create a yummy dessert and share the delicious meal after class. Use of aprons, kids’ knives and cutting boards and food for two recipes per class included.Instructor: The Garden Plate Team

Join Registered Dietitian Mary and her Garden Plate Team for a garden to plate cooking experience! Young chefs will whip up some tasty farm to table snacks, entrees and desserts using some local ingredients. Come to cook and share in tasting the delicious treats cooked up during class. Learn how to read a pattern and to make a more advanced scarf. Learn to crochet in the round by making either a granny square or a stuffed bear. Fee includes a small Crochet Kit. As the weather warms, the bugs start bursting onto the scene-fluttering, crawling, and flying all around us. Join us for an evening adventure filled with hiking, hands-on exploration, and up-close encounters with the amazing insects that keeps our habitat thriving. Pack your own sack dinner, we'll sweeten the night with dessert.

A great beginner class for anyone who has never picked up a set of knitting needles or for those looking to get back into an old hobby. You will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. By the end of class, you will have completed your very first project, a beautiful scarf. Note: Supplies NOT included. Students will need to purchase a set of size 7 or 8 needles (straight or circular), 2 Skein of yarn worsted weight preferred. Instructor: Laurie Maska

Make two textures, one sandy beach themed and the other smooth like the ocean. Kids keep their slime in a souvenir jar with beachy charms for the lid. A beach vacation or creating paradise in your home for spring break is wonderful self-care. The coach will deliver a growth mindset lesson on the importance of self-love.

Through close observation and lab experimentation, this high-energy comedy/prank driven class will offer electrifying lessons on humor such as: Impersonations, gags, slapstick, comic strips, improv, character voices, ventriloquism, and witty situational. They will also understand when comedy is taken TOO far in life. What is a heckler and how do you disarm them? What is a laugh track? What is microphone technique and comic timing? And more humor discoveries and secrets! In a world immersed in technology where everyone is looking down at a phone or tablet, children could benefit from a healthy dose of interaction and comedy! Safe Sitter® Essentials is a fun, hands-on 5.5-hour class for students in grades 6+ (ages 11+) that teaches babysitting basics, child care techniques, safety and rescue skills, first aid, and tips for running a successful babysitting business.
