About Kemp Hall
Kemp Hall, situated next to the Eastside Community Center and Shannon Hall, is a perfect and private “get-ready” room for weddings or events hosted in Shannon Hall. Kemp Hall Features a large room with mirrors along the entire eastern wall, making it an ideal space to prep a wedding party or quinceañera group for the festivities. The space also includes restrooms. The facility has a capacity of 25 and can also be used for small meetings.

Large mirrored room
One big open room with a wall of mirrors makes for a perfect "get-ready" space for an event in nearby Shannon Hall or a small event or meeting. Room dimensions are 36 feet x 30 feet.

Ensuite bath
A bathroom adjacent to the large room offers convenience for getting ready for parties or for event guests.

Staff onsite
Park District staff are onsite at Eastside Community Center next door to answer questions and assist if needed.

Kemp Hall features accessible parking, an entry ramp and an ADA-accessible bathroom.
Rent Kemp Hall
Kemp Hall is rented by the hour between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Please include setup and teardown in your rental time.
The damage deposit will be returned if there is no damage to Park District property.

No. Food and alcohol are not allowed in Kemp Hall.
Is there a projector and screen available?
No, but you may bring your own projector and screen. Please note: Kemp Hall does not have wi-fi access.
Can we charge people admission to our event?
No.
Can we have a bouncy house in Kemp Hall?
Indoor bouncy houses are not allowed.
